Property & Facilities
With an estate of around 250 stores across the UK&I, our property team are kept busy! They are responsible for setting the strategy for new store locations and how many whilst also managing our existing estate. All our stores are leased and so there is a lot of lease negotiation and liaising with landlords so there is a close working relationship with our property lawyers as well as our shopfitting and retail teams.
The work is diverse. One minute they may be acquiring a flagship store in a shopping centre and the next supporting some of our charity partnerships with their stores. Our estate is diverse too – from mega flags on retail parks to small stores in little towns.
Our facilities team are responsible for our 128,000 square foot HQ in West London. The team is made up of Receptionists, Contractors, Catering, Security and Post Room staff – all of which keep our HQ functioning safely & securely for our 2,000 Islanders based there. With an onsite Gym, Staff Shop, Photo Studios and Car Park there’s plenty of work to be kept busy!
